DYNA 2000 Digital Ignition Systems
Programmable digital ignition is adaptable to the performance level of virtually any bike. It offers adjustable advance curve, rev-limit, VOES switch on or off, retard mode for use with nitrous or turbo bikes, and single or dual fire triggering. Options are set using switches on the back of the unit. Designed to be plug-compatible with connectors on factory ignitions on most models made since 1984. All systems use stock ignition pick-up, and none work with fuel injected engines.

In-The-Cone Multi-Spark Ignition
Multi-spark photoelectric trigger fires the spark plug up to four times on each compression stroke. Completely fits in the nose cone and works with Spyke coils which have a fast voltage rise time to meet the demands of multiple discharge.

V-Thunder Ignition Computer by Competition Cams
From heart-attack-serious racer to weekend warrior, the V-Thunder Ignition Computer offers unmatched programming capability to perfectly tailor ignition performance to virtually any Evolution® Big Twin. Unique 'switch programming' allows access to over 20 advanced features such as dwell control, nitrous or blower retard, VOES timing, rear cylinder timing trim, cam calibration and minimum and maximum advance adjust. The computer offers 15 built-in programs to match most popular engine combinations, but for the serious tuner, an optional PC interface module allows unlimited access to the internal computer settings and provides infinite adjustment capability. Installation is a super-simple 'black box' swap, without the need to even get inside the nose cone.
RevTech Electronic Ignition Systems
These RevTech high-energy inductive storage systems replace the Original Equipment point-triggered or electronic ignitions fitted to all Sportster® and Big Twin models since 1970. They're Hall cell triggered and unaffected by R.P.M. changes, dirt, oil or any other contaminants that may get into the ignition housing. Each system uses separate magnets in the rotor to turn the coil on and off producing the correct dwell time of 130 degrees (camshaft). This minimizes coil heating and keeps the primary resistance low which keeps the primary current and energy output at optimum levels. These same magnets are mounted in a planar configuration relative to the Hall cell at a radius of just under an inch resulting in perfect timing accuracy because the module-to-module timing is inherent in the desIGNITION and never needs to be adjusted. Benefits of the single-fire system include increased gas mileage, prolonged spark plug life, easier starts, and a smoother ride with more available horsepower. All of this is accomplished by not firing both sparkplugs every time a cylinder comes to top-dead-center, but only the necessary Plug. This means that the piston which is in the overlap position and still has any raw gas in the cylinder will not be fired needlessly, and the motor will not be 'fighting' itself. Each kit comes complete with everything necessary to perform the installation quickly and easily.

Ignition Wiring Adapter
Install the latest stock or high performance ignitions on models with the earlier connector. The adapter has 7-pin male connector to fit wiring harness introduced on 1991 models and 8-pin female 'Deutsch' connector at other end that fits electronic ignitions introduced on Dressers and Sportster models in 1994 and used on all models since 1996.
RevTech Digital Electronic Ignition
The RevTech Digital Ignition is a great leap forward in ignition systems for Harley-Davidson engines. Its advanced digital technology enables you to adjust it for the specific configuration of your high performance engine. The RevTech Digital Ignition produces an electronic digital advance that is much more stable and reliable than mechanical advance, but the biggest advantage is the ability to select from four built-in advance curves. These curves permit maximum performance on engines built to different performance levels. An important safety factor is included with the built-in RPM limiter to protect the engine. It is adjustable in four increments from 6000 to 7500 RPM. The RevTech Digital Ignition stands above the others in ease of installation as well as performance, It is plug-compatible with the seven-pin 'D' plug fitted to most models since 1991. It uses the Original Equipment Hall effect timing pickup used on stock electronic ignitions since 1984. For those looking for top-performing single-fire ignition timing, a separate output is provided for the second coil, and a dedicated tach output is also provided. To keep installation simple, optional wiring kits adapt it for use with most models built from 1984 thru 1990.
Notes:
1) only carbon-core suppression spark plug wires should be used with this ignition system.
Copper or spiral-core wires may cause electronic interference and/or damage the unit.
2) For correct operation of this ignition system, the Original Equipment electronic
ignition pickup and OEM 32402-83 rotating cup that attaches to the camshaft (that have
been fitted to all models since 19a4) MUST be used.
3) This ignition system may not be installed on motorcycles equipped with kickstart ONLY.
Wiring Harness Adapters
RevTech Coils
These coils have the correct primary resistance necessary for use in single-fire applications. A wide variety of mounting brackets for various applications may be found elsewhere in this section. Sold in pairs.
Note: Dual-fire operation (one coil firing both spark plugs at the same time) requires the use of a CCI #59-713 high-performance coil or an OEM 31614-83 coil (that has been fitted to most models since 1984).
Crane 'Hi-4' Internal High-Performance Ignition Systems
Crane's high-performance electronic ignitions have the entire unit mounted directly to the ignition timing plate for ease-of-installation and trouble-free operation. They're available in single-fire and dual-fire "race' models as well as an 'EPA-friendly' version that is certified legal for use in all 50 states (E.O. #D-225-43). They all feature fully-adjustable advance curves, switching for kick or electric start, a tachometer output, and a rev-limiter that's adjustable from 4,000 to 8,000 RPM . The "race" single-fire kit has adjustable rear cylinder timing, and both single-fire kits have the necessary circuitry to correct the read-out of the electronic tachometers on late-model motorcycles. They fit all Sportster® models from 1983 to present and Big Twin models from 1984 to present that still have their Original Equipment ignition timing rotor in place. They may also be installed on all Sportster models from 1971 thru 1982 and Big Twins from 1970 thru 1983 when their mechanical advance units and point ignitions, or early electronic ignitions and rotors are replaced by an OEM 32402-83 ignition timing rotor. Detailed installation instructions are included.
Note: Crane recommends the use of Spiral core spark plug wires and high-performance coils with at least 2 ohms primary resistance for these ignitions. Ignition unit will not work in conjunction with racing air shifter installed.

Note: Sportster models from 1971 thru 1982 and Big Twins from 1970 thru 1983 require that mechanical advance units and point ignitions, or early electronic ignitions and rotors be replaced by an OEM 32402-83 ignition timing rotor (CCI #75-211).

Crane 'Hi-4' External High-Performance Ignition Systems
Equipped with model year-specific wiring harness - including the correct connector - Crane Hi-4 ignitions combine high-performance with convenient 'plug and play' installation for late-model bikes. Fully-adjustable advance curves, switch for kick or electric start, tachometer output, and a rev-limiter adjustable from 4,000 to 8,000 RPM.
Crane Interface Adapter for Electronic Tachometers and Single-Fire Ignitions
This adapter is required for use with the RevTech, Crane and Dyna single-fire ignition systems to correct the read-out of the electronic tachometers on late-model motorcycles. Includes all hardware necessary for installation.
Compu-Fire Electronic Ignition Systems
This digital ignition that uses advanced Hall-Cell triggering and surface mount technology with convenient built-in 'Accu-Ray' static timing LED. These kits completely eliminate the rev-limiter and have built-in adapters to correct the tachometer output. Four versions are available to fit Big Twin models from 1970 to present and Sportster models from 1971 to present.

Compu-Fire Ignition for High Compression Motors
Eliminate pinging and misfire in high compression and large displacement engines. Special advance curves range from fairly steep for near stock to more gradual for high horsepower engines that often ping severely under hard acceleration. All ignition circuits are contained in the nose cone for simple installation and there is the 'Accu-Ray' static timing LED to ease setting initial timing. Single or dual fire operation is switch-selected, and dual sensor circuits eliminate hard starts and give accurate spark timing even at high RPM. Eight advance curves, adjustable rev-limiter (6,000 to 7,500 rpm) and two VOES modes. For all Big Twin models from 1970 to present and all Sportster models from 1971 to present.
Compu-Fire 'Elite l' Digital Electronic Ignitions
All circuits are contained on the timing plate. There's no module or anything else to mount! The HDE-1 and HDE-2 have fixed advance curves and 6500 RPM rev-limiters to protect the engine. Model HDE-3 has eight advance curves and eight-stage rev-limiter adjustable from 6000 to 7500 RPM or off. All models have the Accu-Ray timing LED for precise timing and system check. They work with the factory VOES switch (HDE-3 offers dual-range operation). Fit all Big Twin models from 1970 to present and all Sportster models from 1971 to present.
Compu-Fire Elite-1 Supersport Modules
Complete Compu-Fire ignition systems on the inside without external components.
On-board controls allow selection of single or dual fire operation, eight advance curves, two VOES modes, and rev-limiter threshold.
Eliminates VOES control and adds selectable retard settings for nitrous, turbo, or other exotic fuels and/or engine modifications where precision advance control is essential to performance.

Ignition Sensor Assembly and Parts
Accel® Mega-Fire Ignition Module
This module replaces the stock unit fitted to all Evolution® Big Twin models from 1991 to present. May also be installed on 1984 thru 1990 Big Twins when installed in conjunction with a CCI #25-527 Wiring Harness Conversion Kit. The adjustable feature permits selection one of the four pre-programmed advance curves with easy-to-use 'dip' switches. In addition to requiring the Wiring Harness Conversion Kit, all FLT, FLHT and FLHS models from 1984 thru 1990 as well as Softtail models from 1989 thru 1990 require a Harness Extension (must be purchased separately).
Note: Suppression spark plug wires
and resistor spark plugs must be used with this module.
Note: Ignition module may be adapted to models from 1994 to present with CCI #12-568
harness adapter.
Accel Rev Master RPM Control Module
Pre-sets to a specific RPM limit on point or Original Equipment electronic ignition systems. Limit is adjustable between 1900 RPM and 8100 RPM. Measures 4 3/4" x 2 1/2" and is easy to mount.
Note: When this unit is used in conjunction with stock electronic ignitions which have built-in rev-limiters, this unit will only limit lower than the stock unit.
Dyna Rev Limiter
Operates with all types of inductive electronic ignitions. Adjusts between 6,000 and 12,000 RPM, and doesn't affect engine performance until the limiter is reached. Cannot be used with capacitive discharge systems.
Dyna Two-Stage Competition Rev Limiter
Designed for drag racing applications with launch and top-end rev limits. Launch limit is from 2,500 to 6,250 RPM for clean, consistent starts. The upper limit is from 5,500 to 9,250 RPM to protect the engine from over-revving. Both are adjustable in 250 RPM increments.
