Terms of Sale and Shipping
At American Legend Motorcycles, our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. In addition to 24-hour ordering on-line, our sales staff are available Monday thru Friday from Noon to 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Prices
Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of our on-line catalog. Sometimes price, application and product availability changes occur that are beyond our control, therefore, prices, descriptions and availability of all items in the catalog are subject to change without notice. In order to keep backorders to a minimum, it is our policy to substitute an identical or comparable item from another of our vendors if we will not be able to fill your order within two shipping days (excluding Sat. & Sun). We will not ship an order that contains a price change or a substitution without contacting you first. All prices in our catalog are in US dollars.
Payment
Credit/Debit Cards
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. For your protection, all initial orders made with a credit or debit card must be shipped to the billing address on the card. After your initial order, alternate shipping addresses may be used. When you check out, use the "secure checkout" option. It requires no special software on your computer and it encrypts all of your personal information. This is backed up by our On-line Safe Ordering Guarantee™ , the only one of its kind in the industry. We do not accept American Express, Diners Club or any other cards. If your card is issued by a non-US bank, they will convert your invoice total from US dollars to your currency at their prevailing exchange rate on the day the transaction posts.
COD’s/ Money Orders/ Certified and Personal Checks
Due to extensive levels of fraud, we do not accept payment by personal check, money order or certified check.
Shipping
Continental US
We ship by UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail ONLY. The choice of UPS or USPS is at our discretion. We offer free shipping on orders to the continental US over $250.00 (see below for details). UPS does not ship to Post Office boxes, so be sure that your order shows your complete street address with apartment or suite # etc. Additional charges for incorrect addresses, reshipments, refused shipments and returns are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping charges are based on the amount of your order, as follows:

All orders over $250.00(Note 1) receive FREE UPS Ground or USPS Priority shipping in the continental US
(excludes Alaska & Hawaii). Choice of UPS or USPS is at our discretion.
Note 1: All frames, engines and other large, bulky and heavy items are charged shipping fees regardless of order amount.
Shipping – Worldwide
Shipments to all other locations worldwide are made by USPS Priority Mail or UPS only. Because of weight and package size calculations, the shipping cost cannot be determined prior to the order being boxed for shipment. We will provide you with a shipping quote by email after your order is placed and before it is billed or shipped. This quote is subject to your approval and it must be approved in writing by return email or your order will not be billed or processed. The type of service available depends on the country being shipped to and your specific address. In all cases the customer is responsible for all shipping charges, agent, inspection and customs fees, duties, tariffs, taxes (including VAT) and other related costs.
Insurance
We carefully pack all orders to esure they are received complete and in good condition. However, if your package is damaged during shipping, have the delivery personnel note the damage in their log and sign for the package. Do not refuse delivery. All refused packages will be charged for the additional cost of refusal and reshipping. Call or e-mail us and we will handle the claim for you and send replacements for the damaged items.
Warranties
Many items we sell carry a manufacturer's warranty and some do not. American Legend Motorcycles does not manufacture any of the items we sell, thus we do not warranty any of them ourselves. If you have any questions about whether or not a particular item has a manufacturer's warranty, please contact us PRIOR to your purchase and we will find out for you.
Cancellations and Returns
Orders may not be cancelled after they have been billed. Cancellations after billing are treated as returns. All returns are charged a 20% restocking fee and must be postmarked within 5 days of your original receipt of the item. After that, no returns are allowed. All returns must include all parts and the original packaging in unused, resellable condition. No refunds or exchanges will be made without them.
Privacy Statement
American Legend maintains a customer database in order to conduct business and to better serve our customers, however, we do not sell or provide outside parties any customer information for marketing purposes. Any information you provide us is confidential and treated as such.
Changes to Terms
The company reserves the right to change its sale terms & conditions and return policies at any time without notice. If you have any questions, call or e-mail us.
